SEURIEUS BAND

Seurieus adalah sebuah grup musik yang berawal dari sekumpulan mahasiswa Seni Rupa ITB yang ingin mengekspresikan kegilaan dirinya dalam bermusik setelah dalam setahun cukup pusing dengan keadaan mereka sebagai mahasiswa baru Seni Rupa yang ternyata sangat melelahkan. Mereka tampil sebagai band kampus yang sering muncul di berbagai acara musik ITB. Terbentuk sekitar akhir tahun 1994 memulai kiprahnya pada panggung-panggung kecil di kota Bandung dan sekitarnya dengan konsep entertaining the audience, sehingga muncul sebagai sebuah sajian musik yang polos, total, penuh aksi, lugu namun menghibur. Tak heran jika logat Sunda mereka atas kata Heavy Metal pun terdengar menjadi Hepi Metal (happy metal) atau musik metal yang gembira. Dengan jumlah personel 6 orang, Seurieus mulai serius untuk menggarap lagu-lagunya sendiri yang berbasis musik hard rock. Namun pada penampilannya Seurieus tidak terpatok untuk membawakan lagu rock, namun diselingi juga dengan lagu-lagu lain yang menghibur bagi penonton. Keunikan yang menjadi ciri khas band ini yaitu dalam atraksi panggungnya selalu menampilkan aksi yang panggung yang kadangkala bisa membawa senyum penontonnya.

Madonna (born Madonna Louise Ciccone; August 16, 1958) is an American recording artist, actress and entrepreneur. Born in Bay City, Michigan, and raised in Rochester Hills, Michigan, she moved to New York City in 1977, for a career in modern dance. Madonna has sold more than 200 million albums worldwide.^[1][2] She is ranked by the Recording Industry Association of America as the best-selling female rock artist of the 20th century and the second top-selling female artist in the U.S., with 64 million certified albums.^[3][4] Guinness World Records listed her as the world's most successful female recording artist of all time.^[5] In 2008, Billboard magazine ranked Madonna at number two, behind only The Beatles, on the "Billboard Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists", making her as the most successful solo artist in the history of Billboard Hot 100 chart.^[6] She was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the same year.^[7] Considered to be one of the most influential women in contemporary music, Madonna has been known for continually reinventing both her music and image and for retaining a standard of autonomy within the recording industry; she is recognized as an influence among numerous music artists.
